Senior Oracle NetSuite Developer
We are seeking a Senior Oracle NetSuite Developer to help a client decouple a heavily customized NetSuite environment while retaining only General Ledger functionality. In this senior role, you will take full ownership of the discovery, assessment, and simplification roadmap — driving the transition from a complex, highly tailored system to a streamlined, GL-focused solution.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end discovery of the current customized Oracle NetSuite environment
- Map existing functionality and identify dependencies outside of GL
- Assess customizations and determine what must be removed to support decoupling
- Document the current-state design and gaps related to retaining only GL
- Define a high-level roadmap for decoupling and simplifying NetSuite functionality
- Coordinate with client stakeholders to validate findings and priorities
- Support decision-making by outlining risks, constraints, and recommended next steps
Requirements
- 3+ years of Oracle NetSuite ERP experience
- Senior-level capability to lead discovery and align stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite customization review and impact analysis
- Strong knowledge of General Ledger (GL) processes within NetSuite
- Strong requirements-mapping skills to identify what to remove vs. retain
- Strong analytical skills to assess dependencies across customized functionality
- Clear communication skills for documenting findings and presenting recommendations
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)
