Front End Developer - React/TypeScript
You will join this large Financial Institution (Investment Bank) as a Front End Developer and you will be joining a small team of developers to build a range of UI’s in the equities risk domain.
Mostly Greenfield development.
Previous Financial Services experience is not required.
Close collaboration with engaged internal users.
Essential functions
- Design and development of scalable, high-traffic systems
- Championing engineering best practices across the team
- Building full-stack applications in React
Qualifications
- 5+ years as a Senior software engineer
- Deep backend knowledge using TypeScript/JavaScript, with full-stack ability in React
- Cloud experience, ideally with AWS (Lambda, EKS, RDS) and Kubernetes
- Exposure to AI tools or automation workflows (desirable!)
- Familiarity with GraphQL, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
