Senior Dynatrace SME
We are seeking a Senior Dynatrace SME to join our Observability team. The successful candidate will leverage strong DQL expertise to design and implement new dashboards and alerts in Dynatrace, working closely with developers, cloud engineers and operations teams to enhance our monitoring capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new dashboards in Dynatrace to support observability initiatives
- Create and configure alerts to proactively detect and address performance issues
- Collaborate with the existing Observability team to enhance monitoring capabilities
- Leverage DQL to build queries that surface meaningful insights from telemetry data
- Perform root cause analysis using metrics, logs and traces
- Partner with cross-functional teams including developers, cloud engineers and operations teams
- Support integration of Dynatrace with Azure cloud services
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of APM practices across the organization
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in software development
- Background in working with Dynatrace (SaaS or Managed) as an analyst or developer
- Strong proficiency in DQL
- Understanding of Dynatrace architecture including OneAgent, Smartscape and Davis AI
- Expertise in dashboards and alerting within Dynatrace
- Experience with Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Function Apps and Logic Apps
- Knowledge of application performance monitoring (APM) concepts and telemetry data types (metrics, logs, traces)
- Skills in root cause analysis
- Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, cloud engineers and operations teams
