Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for a proactive, detail-focused Senior Business Analyst to support the CPQ-to-BRIM billing workstream. You will bridge Sales CRM and SAP BRIM, taking ownership of the design, testing, and documentation of data journeys that convert contract and usage information into accurate invoices

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end pipelines that transfer contract and usage records from Sales CRM into SAP BRIM Convergent Mediation
• Verify that incoming usage data produces correct billable items and supports accurate commitment-versus-actual usage reconciliation
• Configure, analyze, and resolve issues within SAP Convergent Mediation to support dependable billing processes
• Coordinate the connection between Convergent Mediation and Convergent Invoicing to enable complete invoicing flows
• Review disposition requests received from Sales CRM and confirm that they are valid before processing
• Create new invoices or update existing invoices in line with approved billing requirements
• Apply goodwill adjustments accurately while ensuring appropriate auditability and alignment with commercial agreements
• Separate composite billable items when required to support correct invoice handling
• Ensure all disposition actions and invoice changes comply with applicable contract conditions
• Examine event schemas and payload formats exchanged between Sales CRM and SAP BRIM
• Test two-way event interactions, including disposition messages sent to BRIM, billable-item notifications delivered to Sales CRM, and invoice creation events
• Perform full event-delivery validation across timing, retry behavior, and error-handling scenarios
• Validate threshold-triggered notifications, such as outstanding-balance alerts at defined financial limits
• Review and test transformation and field-mapping logic implemented through AEM or SAP BTP integration adapters
• Record integration defects, delivery delays, mapping issues, and other gaps identified during testing
• Produce clear operational materials describing data mappings and event schema definitions
• Document recovery steps and escalation procedures for failed integrations and commitment-related billing disputes
• Prepare detailed integration test plans that define scenarios, expected outcomes, and validation activities

Requirements

• At least 3 years of practical experience performing business analysis within technology, billing, or enterprise system initiatives
• Hands-on experience configuring SAP BRIM Convergent Mediation, including mediation rules and rating processes
• Working knowledge of SAP BRIM Convergent Invoicing for invoice generation, disposition processing, and goodwill adjustment handling
• Strong understanding of CPQ processes, including contractual terms, commitment structures, usage measurement, and overage cases within Salesforce CPQ, SAP CPQ, or similar platforms
• Experience validating data exchanges and event-driven integrations between business applications
• Ability to prepare test approaches, establish representative test data, and execute data validation scenarios
• Familiarity with Advanced Event Mesh, SAP Business Technology Platform, or comparable integration technologies, together with a willingness to expand integration expertise
• Confidence querying the SAP BRIM data model, including FKKBODP, FKKDI, FKKINV, contract account, and billable-item tables
• Ability to use BRIM table data to confirm mediation behavior and investigate reconciliation variances
• Proficiency in SQL for checking transformations, tracing data issues, and diagnosing billing discrepancies
• Ability to connect revenue, sales operations, and finance stakeholders with technical delivery teams while documenting decisions and solution trade-offs clearly
• Written and spoken English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience using SAP Business Technology Platform to support integrations, extensions, or cloud-based business solutions
• Knowledge of SAP FICO processes and their relationship to financial accounting and billing activities
• Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ configuration and its role in managing product, pricing, contract, and quoting workflows
