Senior Test Automation Engineer (Java)
We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer (Java) to join a project focused on migrating multiple existing services into the cloud, driving quality engineering and TestOps initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Build and extend the microservices contract testing framework to cover all Java applications transitioning to cloud infrastructure
- Prioritize testing coverage based on the application migration roadmap
- Integrate DXOne QA pipelines and establish quality gates for metrics tracking
- Develop chaos engineering practices within the post-trade framework and infrastructure pipelines
- Migrate QA infrastructure from the ATLAS platform to the cloud environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure resilient and reliable service delivery
- Establish testing standards for contract validation and resiliency across services
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in test automation engineering with Java-based applications
- Proficiency in AWS Fault Injection Simulator and contract testing tools
- Expertise in Cucumber and PACT
- Understanding of chaos engineering and resiliency testing methodologies
- Familiarity with cloud migration processes for QA infrastructure
- Background in building and extending automated testing frameworks for microservices
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Microcks for contract testing
- Knowledge of performance testing methodologies
- Skills in soak testing techniques
