Worked on the configuration, support, and enhancement of Cerner FetalLink used for real‑time fetal monitoring in Labor & Delivery units. Responsibilities included resolving device connectivity issues, validating fetal heart tracing workflows, monitoring data flow stability, and coordinating with clinicians and device teams to ensure accurate and uninterrupted fetal monitoring documentation within Cerner Millennium.

Responsibilities

• Support, configure, and maintain Cerner FetalLink for fetal monitoring workflows. Troubleshoot tracing issues, device connectivity problems, and workflow breaks between fetal monitors and Cerner. Monitor system performance, interface stability, and ensure continuous data flow from fetal monitors to the EMR. Collaborate with clinicians (L&D nurses, OB physicians) to validate fetal monitoring documentation and workflows. Perform testing, upgrades, and validation for new device models and Cerner releases.

SKILLS

Must have

• Module: FetalLink Skillset:OB workflows ============================================== Strong knowledge of Cerner FetalLink and fetal monitoring workflows. Experience with device integration (GE/Philips fetal monitors). Monitoring tools (Splunk, Command Center dashboards, or equivalent). Understanding of maternal-fetal clinical documentation. Troubleshooting, incident management, and test execution.

Nice to have

NICU or newborn workflow understanding. Basic CCL (read/debug). HL7/Device interface fundamentals. Experience with L&D workflows beyond fetal monitoring.
