We are looking for a Legal Counsel to strengthen our legal function in the HR domain and help build more efficient and modern legal processes.
This is not a traditional “contract-only” legal role.
It sits at the intersection of employment law, operational legal support, and LegalTech, where the focus is not only on legal expertise but also on simplifying processes, automating routine work, and enabling the business to move faster.
You will work closely with HR and cross-functional teams, influencing how key internal processes are structured.
What you will do
HR Legal Support
- Drafting, reviewing, and maintaining HR policies and internal regulations
- Advising HR and business teams on employment law matters
- Supporting resolution of labor disputes and complex HR cases
- Preparing and reviewing agreements and documentation related to HR processes
LegalTech & Process Optimization
- Evaluating and implementing LegalTech solutions (CLM, workflow automation, AI tools)
- Automating routine legal tasks (contract templates, approvals, obligation tracking)
- Developing and maintaining internal legal knowledge base (templates, playbooks, guidelines)
Integrating legal tools with business systems (ERP, CRM, HR platforms) - Contributing to the improvement and scalability of legal processes
General Legal Support
- Handling a variety of legal tasks from the Head of Legal
- Supporting different business areas and projects when needed
What we expect
- 5+ years of legal experience in an international IT or product company
- Strong knowledge of Russian legislation and understanding of common law principles, including intellectual property law
- Experience with employment law (Cyprus is a plus)
- Excellent legal drafting skills in both Russian and English
- Hands-on experience with HR-related legal matters
- Basic understanding of GDPR and data protection
- Experience with LegalTech tools or legal process automation
- English level B2 or higher
Nice to Have
- Experience managing legal or cross-functional projects
- Experience in game development
- Experience implementing LegalTech solutions
