Java Developer (Oracle ATG / Microservices Migration)
We are looking for a senior Java Developer to join a high-impact project modernizing order management systems for a leading global specialty retailer. This role is part of a strategic initiative migrating a legacy Oracle ATG platform to a modern microservices architecture.
You'll work on a team migrating core e-commerce and order management systems off Oracle ATG onto a cloud-native microservices stack, supporting a retailer with 1,300+ stores across the US, Canada, Mexico, and Hong Kong, plus e-commerce shipping to 80+ countries.
Essential functions
- Hands-on experience with Oracle ATG, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Background in retail e-commerce systems
- Comfort working across the full development lifecycle, from legacy system analysis to designing and building new microservices
Qualifications
- Design and develop microservices as part of a legacy-to-modern platform migration
- Work directly with order management and e-commerce domain logic
- Collaborate with a large, established engineering team
- Contribute to architecture decisions during the ATG-to-microservices transition
