We are looking for an HR Specialist/HR Generalist to join our People Operations team and support the full employee lifecycle while contributing to the development of consistent HR practices across the organization.
Responsibilities
Execute day-to-day People Operations tasks from an HR perspective, including onboarding, adaptation, benefits, medical insurance, background checks, exit processes, and operate in related shared services
Provide ongoing support throughout the employee adaptation process
Create, maintain, and where needed implement HR processes in daily activities (adaptation, office branding/improvements, administrative matters such as work environment and branded gifts purchasing, etc)
Communicate regularly with the managerial team and unit employees; act as an advisor to managers on HR-related issues and processes
Provide administrative support for local and global events and teambuilding activities, aligned with business needs and team lead requests
Serve as the key contact for employee queries related to local labor law and legal regulations
Support employees on benefits-related matters
Handle and analyze HR-related data, and prepare regular reports based on business needs
Contribute to the development and consistent rollout of People Management policies across the organization
Maintain accurate, well-organized employee documentation and records with strong attention to detail
Requirements
Completed higher education (Bachelor's degree or equivalent)
1–3 years of experience in an HR/People Operations role (HR specialist/generalist, or similar), giving a practical foundation for handling People Operations tasks independently
Background in core People Operations areas: onboarding, adaptation, benefits, background checks, exit, records management, Uzbekistan labor law
Skills in working with HRIS systems and data for reporting and analysis
Ability to self-manage with minimal supervision, and capacity to guide or coach less senior colleagues
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management, analysis, and presentation; familiarity with Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Understanding of generative AI concepts and how AI tools can support HR/People Operations workflows (e.g., drafting communications, summarizing data, automating routine documentation), along with awareness of responsible AI use principles, including data privacy and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
Proactive, detail-oriented, with strong ownership of assigned tasks
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Upper-Intermediate (B2+) English, both spoken and written
Nice to have
Certification in HR/People Management
Previous experience in an IT or international company
