Senior Business Analyst - Regulatory Reporting

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team and deliver consulting services supporting non-financial regulatory reporting projects for a leading global investment bank.

In this role, you will drive root cause analysis, solution design, and end-to-end delivery across a range of global regulatory regimes, including EMIR, working closely with Operations, Engineering, and senior stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant remediation of reporting issues.

Responsibilities

• Establish project governance aligned to existing frameworks, including the set-up of working groups and management forums as required
• Perform full root cause analysis of reporting issues and recommend tactical or strategic solutions for remediation
• Document agreed solutions as formal business requirements for client sign-off, including any back-reporting requirements for impacted trade populations
• Facilitate handover of requirements to technology and operations teams for resolution
• Produce Solution Design documentation agreed with Operations and Engineering teams responsible for delivery
• Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing ahead of production releases
• Validate delivered solutions to ensure business requirements are met and issues are fully resolved and closed
• Provide weekly progress metrics to the governance function for tracking
• Communicate progress, RAIDs, and escalations through OpCo and SteerCo management forums
• Manage stakeholder relationships across business, operations, and engineering functions

Requirements

• 6-9 years of experience in Business Analysis and requirements gathering, including authoring of BRDs and FRDs
• Expertise in Regulatory Reporting across global regimes
• Knowledge of at least one of the following regulatory regimes: CFTC, SEC, or MiFID/MiFIR
• Familiarity with EMEA and APAC reporting regimes such as SFTR, EMIR, or MMSR
• Understanding of APAC regulatory frameworks including MAS, ASIC, HKMA, or JFSA
• Proficiency in OTC and ETD product knowledge
• Strong stakeholder management skills across business, technology, and operations functions
• Capability to lead root cause analysis and translate findings into actionable solution designs
• English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
