Database Administrator

Project description

Specialized DBA team working directly with trading‑related applications. Focus on database operations such as maintenance, performance optimization, data‑transfer workflows, and maintaining high availability and security.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability and strong performance
• Monitor overall database health and system metrics
• Perform tuning and optimization of databases
• Diagnose and resolve database‑related issues
• Refine and enhance SQL procedures and queries
• Develop and deploy database scripts for automation and maintenance tasks
• Administer Change Tracking and Replication processes
• Participate in migration initiatives
• Recommend improvements to processes to enhance availability and performance
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support

SKILLS

Must have

• SQL Server 2016, 2019 administration (including SSRS, SSIS)
• Always On Availability Groups
• Transactional Replication
• Strong knowledge of T‑SQL and query‑optimization techniques
• Experience with database performance monitoring and troubleshooting
• Understanding of database partitioning
• Familiarity with SSRS administration and report development
• PowerShell scripting (including dbatools)
