We are looking for two Senior Full Stack Developers for our client, one of the world's largest natural resource companies. The role will focus on building and evolving a new enterprise-grade application for a Compliance platform as part of a strategic greenfield initiative.
The team has already developed an extensive prototype, which is evolving into the production application. The selected developers will join the project to complete the implementation, support production deployment, and continue extending the solution with new business capabilities. The application is being developed using a modern AI-assisted software engineering approach, where Agentic Coding tools such as Claude Code are a core part of the development process. Developers will work in a new paradigm of software delivery, using AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining full ownership of technical decisions, solution quality, and delivered outcomes. This role requires experienced engineers who can act as technical orchestrators of AI development tools - defining tasks, reviewing generated solutions, identifying potential issues, and ensuring that delivered code is technically correct, scalable, maintainable, and fit for enterprise use.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack enterprise applications using Angular, TypeScript, Java, and Spring Boot.
- Complete and evolve an existing application prototype into a production-ready enterprise solution.
- Develop new application features and enhancements based on business and technical requirements.
- Design and implement frontend components, backend services, APIs, integrations, and data processing solutions.
- Work closely with architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional delivery teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Use Agentic Coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development platforms as part of daily engineering activities.
- Orchestrate AI-assisted development workflows by defining implementation goals, reviewing generated code, and ensuring technical correctness.
- Critically evaluate AI-generated solutions and challenge or improve them where required.
- Apply software engineering best practices including clean code principles, design patterns, automated testing, code reviews, and engineering standards.
- Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Support application deployment activities and ensure production readiness.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement of the platform.
- Collaborate effectively within an Agile development environment.
SKILLS
Must have
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Excellent knowledge of Angular and TypeScript.
- Strong Java development experience with Spring Boot.
- Experience building enterprise-grade web applications.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with enterprise data platforms, complex integrations, and high-volume data processing.
- Experience with modern software engineering practices, including Git, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD processes.
- Practical experience using Agentic Coding tools such as Claude Code (preferred), Codex, Cursor, or equivalent AI-assisted development platforms.
- Ability to effectively orchestrate, review, validate, and challenge AI-generated solutions to ensure technical correctness, quality, and maintainability.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean code principles.
- Ability to define and enforce engineering standards, technical guidelines, and development best practices.
- Ability to independently assess technical solutions and make sound engineering decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Nice to have
• Experience in Commodity Trading, Financial Services, Banking, or other complex business domains.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms such as Kafka.
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
