JUXT (part of Grid Dynamics) is partnering with a leading global asset management firm to provide dedicated programme management for the initiatives that keep its technology estate healthy, secure and up to date.
The firm's IT and infrastructure teams manage a continuous stream of important technical initiatives, including:
Historically, this work has often sat within individual technology teams without dedicated programme ownership.
This newly created Technical Programme Manager (TPM) role has been established to address that gap.
You will take ownership of these initiatives from initial scoping through to completion, creating structure around the work, coordinating the teams involved, identifying and removing blockers, and providing clear visibility to technology leadership.
You will join the firm's technology organisation in the City of London, working alongside an established TPM and closely with systems architecture leadership.
This is a hands-on technical programme management role. It is particularly suited to someone who is comfortable working directly with engineers, infrastructure specialists, architects and security teams and who enjoys understanding the technical detail behind delivery challenges.
Essential functions
As Technical Programme Manager, you will own a portfolio of technology-focused initiatives and ensure that they make consistent progress through to completion.
You will not simply maintain project plans. You'll be expected to understand what needs to happen, establish the delivery approach, coordinate the relevant technical teams, challenge delays and dependencies, and provide senior stakeholders with a clear view of progress and risk.
The role sits at the intersection of technology, engineering and delivery.

Technology Debt & Modernisation
Infrastructure Decommissioning
Software Upgrade Programmes
Security & Vulnerability Remediation
Engineering Quality
Parent Banking Group Migration
A core part of the role will be establishing a consistent delivery cadence across the portfolio.
You will:
The expectation is that reporting will be clear, concise and actionable.
This is a technical programme management position rather than a traditional business transformation or change-management role.
You will be expected to engage with technical teams at a meaningful level and understand the substance behind delivery plans.
You should be comfortable asking questions such as:
You won't necessarily be writing the code or implementing the infrastructure yourself, but you should be technically credible enough to understand the answers and challenge delivery assumptions when necessary.
You will work with a broad range of technical stakeholders, including:
You will need to adapt your communication to different audiences while maintaining a consistent view of programme status.
At senior levels, this means communicating succinctly around:
Progress → Risks → Dependencies → Decisions → Actions
At engineering level, it means engaging in enough technical detail to understand what is actually required to deliver the work.
You don't need to be a hands-on engineer, but you should have sufficient technical depth to understand modern enterprise technology environments.
Relevant experience could include familiarity with:
The precise technology stack is less important than your ability to understand technical delivery problems and work effectively with engineering teams.
Would be a plus
Experience in any of the following would be beneficial:
You can engage comfortably with engineers, architects and infrastructure specialists and understand the technical substance behind their delivery commitments.
You can manage multiple concurrent initiatives without losing track of actions, dependencies, risks or deadlines.
You don't need a detailed instruction set to get started. You identify what needs to happen, establish structure and drive the work forward.
You care about outcomes and completion rather than simply maintaining project plans and producing status reports.
You understand that enterprise technology environments contain constraints and dependencies. You focus on finding practical routes through them.
You can take a complicated technical situation and communicate the important facts clearly to both engineers and senior leadership.
You build effective relationships across engineering, infrastructure, security, architecture and management teams.
Technology debt initiatives can involve long-running dependencies and competing priorities. You are comfortable maintaining momentum and following issues through to resolution.
Success in this role means establishing clear ownership and momentum across a portfolio of technical initiatives.
Within the role, you will help create:
Most importantly, the organisation should have confidence that important technical initiatives are being actively driven rather than sitting within individual teams without clear programme ownership.
You will be embedded within the technology organisation of a leading global asset management firm.
You'll work closely with an established Technical Programme Manager and the systems architecture leadership team, while coordinating delivery across multiple technology functions.
The environment is likely to involve complex enterprise systems, legacy technology, multiple dependencies and competing engineering priorities.
This makes the ability to understand technical detail while maintaining a clear programme-level perspective particularly important.
Location: City of London, UK
Working model: Hybrid
Office attendance: 3 days per week
The role requires regular interaction with technology teams and leadership, making in-person collaboration an important part of the engagement.
JUXT is considering both:
Specific contractual arrangements and commercial terms will be discussed as part of the recruitment process.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a newly established technical programme management function within a sophisticated financial-services technology environment.
Rather than managing a single conventional project, you will have responsibility for a portfolio of initiatives addressing some of the fundamental challenges of maintaining and modernising a large technology estate.
The role offers exposure to:
You'll also have the opportunity to establish delivery practices and bring greater structure and visibility to an important area of technology investment.
JUXT is looking for a Technical Programme Manager to take end-to-end ownership of technology debt and modernisation initiatives for a leading global asset management firm.
The successful candidate will be a technically credible programme manager who understands engineering and infrastructure environments and can turn complex, distributed technical work into structured, measurable delivery programmes.
You will coordinate initiatives ranging from infrastructure decommissioning and software upgrades to vulnerability remediation, engineering quality improvements and migration into the wider parent banking group.
The role requires someone who is organised, technically credible, self-directed and delivery-focused, with the ability to work effectively with engineers while providing concise and reliable visibility to technology leadership.
