Technical Program Manager (TPM) - GCP Cloud Infrastructure

We're seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure and platform projects on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This position involves coordinating cross-functional engineering and operations groups, overseeing complex technical initiatives, and ensuring the successful rollout of scalable, secure, and dependable cloud infrastructure across a worldwide environment. The right candidate will bring together solid technical knowledge of cloud infrastructure with demonstrated program management expertise and stakeholder leadership abilities.

Location: Ukraine, with working hours overlapping until 8:00 PM Kyiv time.

Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive planning and execution of GCP cloud infrastructure and platform initiatives
• Bring together engineering, DevOps, operations, and other cross-functional groups to guarantee program success
• Oversee program schedules, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and resource distribution
• Foster alignment between technical and business stakeholders while delivering consistent program status reports
• Manage large-scale cloud infrastructure deployments and transformation efforts, confirming outcomes align with agreed-upon quality, performance, security, and reliability benchmarks
• Spot delivery risks and operational obstacles early and lead efforts toward mitigation and resolution
• Handle dependencies spanning multiple teams and workstreams within a complex global setting
• Partner with distributed teams across various time zones, including joining PST-aligned meetings and activities as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years in Technical Program Management, Program Management, or a comparable position, focused on cloud, infrastructure, or platform initiatives
• Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) alongside a firm grasp of cloud infrastructure and cloud-native technologies
• Demonstrated track record managing large-scale cloud infrastructure, platform, or cloud transformation programs
• Deep familiarity with technical delivery workflows, covering dependencies, risk management, release planning, and operational readiness
• Solid capabilities in program planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
• Background coordinating distributed, cross-functional teams within a global context
• Capacity to communicate clearly with both technical staff and senior business leaders
• Strong sense of accountability, organizational skills, and problem-solving aptitude

Nice to have

• GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification or another applicable GCP credential
• PMP, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or a similar program/project management certification
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Background in large-scale cloud migration or modernization initiatives
• Experience partnering with teams and stakeholders across US/PST time zones
