About the Position
We are looking for a Program Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale data migration program in a capital markets environment. This role owns the overall execution plan across multiple concurrent migration workstreams, ensuring disciplined agile delivery, transparent client reporting, and tight budget and scope control.
You will act as the primary point of coordination between the delivery team and client stakeholders, translating a committed scope into a rolling, trackable plan and keeping the program on schedule, on budget, and within its agreed scope.
About the Project
The program is a multi-phase data migration initiative aimed at replacing legacy capital markets systems with a modern platform ecosystem. The project spans several months and follows an incremental approach with strong emphasis on data integrity, reconciliation, and traceability.
About the Team
You will lead a cross-functional delivery team that includes a Architects and engineering teams. The role reports into DataArt’s account leadership and works in direct, frequent contact with the client’s business and technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own the overall program plan across all migration workstreams, turning the scope into a rolling, trackable execution plan
- Run and enforce agile delivery routines across the full team
- Own the client facing reporting cadence
- Manage the program budget
- Actively manage the engagement scope
- Coordinate dependencies and resource conflicts across concurrent workstreams
- Serve as the primary escalation point between the delivery team and stakeholders, resolving blockers, clarifying ambiguous or incomplete requirements, and preventing open questions from stalling delivery
- Maintain a clear and current risk and issue log with visible ownership and target resolution dates
- Support staffing and resourcing decisions in coordination with delivery leadership
- Partner with the architect and engineering team on data quality, reconciliation, and validation checkpoints between migration phases
- Keep scope decisions and open items traceable, especially where source system access, data ownership, or documentation completeness is in question
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Program Manager or Senior Project Manager on large scale, multi workstream technology or data programs
- Strong command of agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban and the tooling that supports them, including Jira or similar tools
- Experience managing Time and Materials engagements, including budget tracking, burn rate forecasting, and scope control
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including direct experience communicating with senior stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Experience managing distributed, cross functional, nearshore or LATAM delivery teams
- Ability to bring structure and planning discipline to ambiguous, fast moving, high visibility engagements
- Strong risk and issue management skills, with a track record of escalating early
