About the Position
We are looking for a motivated SOC Analyst (Trainee / Junior) to support Security Operations Center (SOC) activities during weekends. The role focuses on security monitoring, alert triage, incident escalation, and following established SOC procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates starting their cybersecurity careers and looking to gain hands-on experience in a real SOC environment.
Work Schedule:
Weekend shifts only.
Saturday and Sunday, 12-hour shifts.
Fully remote work environment.
Training and mentoring provided for suitable candidates.
Shift Pattern: Saturday – 12 hours + Sunday – 12 hours.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and common cyber threats.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows at a minimum).
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
- Strong analytical mindset and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to follow documented processes and instructions.
- Junior: Up to 1 year of experience in SOC, IT support, cybersecurity, or related roles.
- Junior: Basic experience with SIEM, EDR, or security monitoring tools.
- Junior: Understanding of incident response and alert investigation processes.
- Junior: Ability to perform initial security event analysis and escalation.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, or similar platforms.
- Basic knowledge of phishing, malware, and endpoint security.
- Security-related training, certifications, or coursework (Security+, SC-900, SC-200, etc.).
- Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python).
- Participation in CTFs, cybersecurity labs, Hack The Box, TryHackMe, or similar platforms.
