Senior Snowflake Developer with AWS

About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development and optimization of scalable cloud-based data solutions.

About the Project

The project supports the technical needs of a data engineering and business intelligence team, enabling stakeholders across Finance, Royalties, Copyright, and Writer and Publisher Relations to access reliable, accurate, and scalable data solutions. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines, optimizing data processing and storage, and supporting the evolution of the client's cloud-based data platform. The team designs, builds, and maintains scalable cloud data platforms using Snowflake to process music rights, royalties, and catalog management data.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data solutions using Snowflake and AWS.
• Develop and optimize data transformations and data processing workflows.
• Design and implement efficient data models and structures in Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Implement and maintain automated processes for data integration, validation, and monitoring.
• Optimize data pipelines and Snowflake workloads for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Monitor data processes and troubleshoot data pipeline and platform issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to technical issues.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across data pipelines and systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-based data solutions.
• Solid experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with complex queries and data transformations.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable data pipelines.
• Experience with data modeling and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated deployment processes.
• Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing data pipelines and cloud infrastructure.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, EMR, or CloudWatch.
• Experience with Snowflake performance optimization and cost management.
• Experience with dbt or similar data transformation frameworks.
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Experience with data quality and observability tools.
• Experience working in the music, media, royalties, or financial data domain.
