We are seeking a Senior System Architect - AWS Cloud to lead end-to-end cloud transformation initiatives, design scalable AWS-based solutions and drive large-scale migration programs. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AWS architecture, governance and cloud-native technologies while engaging with clients and mentoring high-performing teams.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end cloud migration strategy including assessment, planning, execution and post-migration optimization
- Design and implement AWS Landing Zones, multi-account environments and governance frameworks ensuring security and scalability
- Represent the organization in client engagements including architecture workshops, executive discussions and technical decision-making
- Define architecture artifacts such as high-level designs, migration blueprints, feature breakdown structures and estimations
- Collaborate with business and engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable cloud-native and AI-enabled architectures
- Lead and mentor teams of 6+ members while ensuring delivery aligned with timelines, quality and budget constraints
- Contribute to RFP responses, solution proposals and evaluate vendor solutions ensuring alignment with AWS best practices
Requirements
- 16-20 years of overall experience in software engineering
- Expertise in AWS Cloud architecture with core services such as EC2, S3 and VPC
- Proficiency in ELB/ALB, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation and CloudWatch
- Background in designing and implementing AWS Landing Zones, Control Tower and multi-account governance including SCPs and IAM policies
- Hands-on experience in large-scale cloud migration programs using AWS Migration Factory, AWS SMS or Application Migration Service
- Knowledge of AWS networking and security architecture including Transit Gateway, NACLs, Security Groups and AWS Network Firewall
- Skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK along with scripting experience in Python, Bash or similar
- Understanding of automation-first architecture, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in AWS environments
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures including microservices, containers and serverless technologies such as EKS, ECS and Lambda

- Exposure to GenAI concepts
- Familiarity with AWS Bedrock or SageMaker
- Capability to integrate AI capabilities into cloud-native solutions
