Senior DevOps Engineer

The current system is a monolithic .NET application coordinated through a single "primary register" per store. Client is re-architecting this into an offline-first, event-driven platform: AWS microservices/Lambda in the cloud, syncing to "dumb" in-store devices (registers, kitchen displays, kiosks) running on Windows, Linux, and Android.

Essential functions

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the pod's codebase.
• Write and enhance AI agents (Claude Code via Amazon Bedrock, and/or Cursor/Copilot) for automated code review, architecture-standards checks, and bug fixing on this workstream.
• Contribute to and align with PAR's broader "agentic SDLC" transformation goals.
• Manage AWS infrastructure-as-code and deployment automation for the pod's services.
• Partner with the Pod Lead on developer-productivity tooling.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of DevOps/platform engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based coding agents (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, or similar) — this is not a traditional infra/ops-only role; the primary value-add is building and extending AI agents into the SDLC.
• Strong AWS and CI/CD background, including infrastructure-as-code (Terraform and/or AWS CDK).
• Comfortable working with GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines.

Would be a plus

LangChain or comparable agent-orchestration experience; familiarity with open-source AI-SDLC tooling
