Senior Python Developer with AWS Bedrock
About the Position
We are looking for a Senior Python AI Engineer to develop AI driven applications and well tested backend services for the Credit Team project. In this role, you will help build scalable systems using Python, FastAPI, and AWS Bedrock, with a strong focus on quality, performance, and production readiness.
About the Project
You will contribute to the Credit Team project, where AI capabilities are combined with Python backend engineering to deliver practical business value. The work includes AWS Bedrock based solutions, GraphRAG architectures, and robust FastAPI services designed for performance, quality, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI applications using AWS Bedrock services
- Create intelligent systems that extract insights from financial documents and unstructured data
- Build Python backend services using FastAPI with comprehensive test coverage
- Develop GraphRAG architectures to improve knowledge retrieval and reasoning
- Create scalable API endpoints for model serving
- Implement Converse API interfaces for conversational applications
- Optimize model performance, cost, and latency for production environments
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with AI and ML services and Python backend development
- Strong software engineering skills with FastAPI and RESTful API design
- Experience working with workflows for Multi Agent AI Systems using LlamaIndex
- Advanced Python programming with FastAPI and testing frameworks
- Experience with Python testing frameworks including unittest, pytest, and Testcontainers
- Experience creating integration tests with Testcontainers for database and service dependencies
- Ability to implement test automation pipelines with coverage metrics
- Experience with load testing using Locust
- Proficiency in building and deploying Converse API interfaces for conversational applications
- Experience implementing RAG and GraphRAG architectures for enterprise applications
- Proficiency with AWS Bedrock services including model deployment and integration
- Experience with AWS AI services and AWS infrastructure including Lambda, S3, and ECS
- Experience with knowledge graphs and vector databases including OpenSearch and Neptune Analytics
- Knowledge of containerization and microservices
- Strong understanding of API security best practices
- Experience implementing evaluation frameworks for AI systems
- Understanding of token optimization and cost management for AI services
- Understanding of A2A protocol
- Understanding of traceability concepts in AI systems
