Senior Python Backend Engineer – Agentic AI

We are seeking a Senior Python Backend Engineer to spearhead our Agentic AI initiative, which centers on building advanced custom agents and connectors for Google and AWS AI services. Your role will focus on designing and delivering scalable, forward-thinking solutions that integrate seamlessly with intricate systems and meet evolving organizational and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom agents from initial concept through production while aligning with organizational and technical objectives
• Create and implement integration strategies for custom agents to ensure reliability and improved system functionality
• Drive the design of scalable solutions to support long-term evolution and enterprise-level demands
• Identify, investigate, and resolve advanced technical issues to ensure project stability and performance
• Manage project timelines and milestones, balancing competing priorities in fast-paced settings
• Research emerging technologies and methodologies to foster innovation and enhance system capabilities
• Mentor and collaborate with team members to cultivate a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and shared goals

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Python developer with proficiency in both traditional and cloud frameworks, such as AWS or GCP
• Advanced troubleshooting and debugging capabilities to address complex production system challenges
• Knowledge of scalable architecture designs complemented by experience in adapting solutions to evolving requirements
• Background in research and analysis to assess, recommend, and apply new technologies and strategies
• Competency in strengthening team collaboration, providing mentorship, and ensuring alignment within an agile workflow
• Expertise in Cloud Native Development, including containerization, orchestration, and deployment using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless frameworks
• Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust REST APIs with a strong focus on authentication, error handling, and versioning
• English language proficiency at B2 level (Upper-Intermediate) or higher for effective communication

Nice to have

• Extensive background in creating production-ready custom agents and integrating them into complex systems
• Deep understanding of AI concepts such as MCP, A2A protocol, RAG, and their applications
• Showcase of expertise in A2A communication workflows and enterprise-grade automation orchestration
• Qualifications in using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore to build, deploy, and manage AI agents on AWS
• Experience with Google Vertex AI for custom model training and end-to-end application integration
• Proficiency in utilizing Model Context Protocol for dynamic context and state management in agent workflows
• Experience with enhancing agent workflows using Retrieval-Augmented Generation in combination with external knowledge bases
