We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET AI Software Engineer to lead the development of innovative applications at the intersection of .NET technologies, artificial intelligence, and secure software engineering.
This position is ideal for a full-stack engineer with a passion for leveraging advanced technologies to build scalable and secure solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using .NET, Angular and SQL 2
- Advocate and implement Shift-Left engineering practices with a strong focus on testing, quality, and security in early stages
- Utilize Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies
- Apply DevSecOps principles to ensure secure and efficient software delivery while collaborating on CI/CD capabilities
- Integrate secure coding standards, automated testing, and security validation into the development lifecycle
- Design and optimize SQL-based solutions to ensure high performance, security, and resilience
- Partner with infrastructure and cloud teams to maintain compliance with security, scalability, and reliability best practices
- Conduct secure code reviews and threat modeling while integrating security tooling into workflows
- Address vulnerabilities and compliance gaps in collaboration with security and governance stakeholders
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of senior-level experience in software engineering with .NET
- Strong experience in front-end development using Angular and TypeScript with knowledge of modern UI design patterns
- Competency in SQL, including relational database design and optimisation
- Proficiency in applying Shift-Left engineering practices, TDD, and BDD within real-world development environments
- Background in CI/CD principles and tooling alongside DevSecOps concepts, including secure coding and automated quality processes
- Expertise in building scalable, cloud-based applications with Azure
Nice to have
- Exposure to AI/ML technologies, including integrations with LLMs or AI-powered workflows
- Familiarity with agentic systems, autonomous workflows, or orchestration agents
- Knowledge of the MCP (Model Context Protocol)
- Background in event-driven systems, microservices, or serverless architectures
- Azure, DevOps, or security certification
