Our mission is to democratize engineering genius and empower 99% of the world, who can't code, to create custom apps for their business or life.

Since our launch at the beginning of 2021, tens of thousands of companies and operators have already adopted Softr and are building custom apps like membership apps, customer portals, internal tools, marketplaces, communities within hours, all without code.

Who we're looking for

If you are an inspired and motivated software engineer who cares as much about the customer experience as you do about technology, you are the person we are looking for. You will be working in a small team and will be building a product to enable millions of people to build new business and automations. We love business-oriented engineers with an open mind and a good sense of humor.

What we're looking for

• You have 7+ years of experience working as a Java Developer
• You are experienced with JVM frameworks including Spring, Hibernate, Jetty/Tomcat, Lombok, Jackson, JUnit, etc.
• You are experienced with Relational Databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL (NoSQL experience is a plus)
• You are experienced with building secure and scalable REST APIs
• You are experienced in architecting complex Java based SaaS applications
• You are familiar with AWS.
• You have a passion for creating clean and simple architecture for complex applications
• You have a passion for writing clean, maintainable and testable code
• You have an experience working in Startups and creating SaaS products
• You have experience working in an agile and multicultural team
• You have a strong sense of ownership, inclination for action, urgency, and drive
