Our mission is to create unique pixel-style games, including the popular Pixel Gun 3D, which attracts over 3 million monthly players.
We are looking for a Senior Game Designer who will take full ownership of an arsenal of 1500+ weapons in a mature shooter with an established meta. The traditional arms race has reached its limit — we need a designer who knows how to create value for top-tier players beyond straightforward damage growth.
- Arsenal Management (1500+ weapons): Conduct systematic audits, tiering, and lifecycle management of content; maintain balance within a massive ecosystem without relying on power creep.
- Data & Analytics: Independently analyze key metrics (pick rate, win rate, whale behavior) to drive design decisions and weapon rebalancing.
- Combat Meta Design: Lead R&D and develop new weapon properties, “visual dominance” mechanics, and utility-driven features that create value for paying veteran players.
- Pipeline Optimization & Control: Configure prefabs and game configs in Unity/admin tools; build transparent content production pipelines, maintain checklists, and keep documentation (Wiki) up to date.
- Technical Support: Prepare technical specifications and collaborate with programmers during the integration of new weapon properties; ensure high-quality implementation of content into builds.
- Mentorship: Onboard team members into the weapon production pipeline and share accumulated domain expertise across the team.
- Game Design Experience (5+ years): Relevant experience working on core gameplay and combat systems in mobile midcore or hardcore Action/Shooter projects. Experience managing mature arsenals, including identifying outdated content and making decisions regarding removal, rebalancing, or freezing content units.
- Systemic Balance & Mathematics: Experience managing large-scale arsenals (1000+ content units). Ability to sustain a healthy meta without relying on power creep. Strong understanding of the relationship between gameplay balance and monetization metrics (new content conversion, player segment retention, whale behavior).
- Strong Unity Expertise: Deep understanding of game data architecture. Hands-on experience configuring prefabs, scripts, and working with internal development tools (admin panels, config editors).
- Analytical Skillset: Ability to independently work with product metrics (SQL, dashboards). Experience making design decisions based on player behavior data. Ability to identify purchasing patterns and formulate hypotheses around monetization changes.
- Pipeline Management: Experience optimizing content production workflows. Ability to build transparent production flows, maintain technical documentation and checklists, and decompose features into staged releases for iterative validation.
- R&D & Deconstruction: Ability to systematically analyze the market and competitors, identifying effective monetization and retention mechanics within combat meta systems.
- Official employment according to the Labor Code of Armenia or Cyprus, or a remote work contract.
- Flexibility in choosing the workplace: remote work or visiting offices in Armenia or Cyprus as desired.
