Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support a variety of business and technology initiatives across the organization. The role involves analyzing business needs, gathering and documenting requirements, supporting solution delivery, and collaborating with business and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate has solid hands-on Business Analysis experience and is comfortable adapting to different projects, business domains, and technology environments.

Schedule: 5 AM - 1 PM EST (11:00-19/20:00 Kyiv time)

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional documentation
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, QA, and other project team members throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Facilitate requirements discussions and clarify business needs with relevant stakeholders
• Support solution design by providing business context and validating proposed solutions against requirements
• Support testing and UAT activities to ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations
• Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and requirements requiring further clarification
• Maintain project and business analysis documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Support implementation, knowledge transfer, and adoption of new or enhanced solutions
• Adapt to different projects and business areas based on organizational priorities

Requirements

• 3 years of hands-on Business Analyst experience supporting technology or business initiatives
• Background in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation
• Skills in creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications
• Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence or similar tools
• Familiarity with Visio and enterprise applications, system integrations, and technology concepts
• Experience supporting testing and UAT activities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; intermediate English or higher
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned activities, and manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project needs

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance, financial services, or another complex enterprise domain
• Familiarity with AI tools to support analysis, documentation, or process improvement
