As a Senior Business Analyst (f/m/x), you will bridge business needs and technology solutions by designing, analysing, and delivering business processes, workflow solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities. You will work across the full project lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering to implementation, validation, and business readiness. The role combines traditional business analysis, process design, workflow automation, and emerging agentic AI solutions, including HR-focused use cases. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, engineers, architects, and governance teams to ensure solutions deliver measurable business value while meeting enterprise standards for security, control, and compliance.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements Management
Elicit, analyse, document, and validate business requirements.
Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Create clear and comprehensive documentation, including process flows, BPMN diagrams, use cases, presentations, specifications, and workflow designs.
Ensure requirements are understood by both business and technical stakeholders. Process Design & Improvement
Analyse current-state processes and design future-state business workflows.
Identify process optimization opportunities through automation and AI-enabled capabilities.
Conduct impact assessments for proposed changes across processes, systems, and organizational structures.
Support business units in defining efficient and scalable operating models. Workflow & Agentic Solutions
Support the design and implementation of workflow-based and agent-driven solutions.
Define user interactions, workflow exceptions, decision points, and agent behaviours.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Contribute to AI-enabled initiatives, including information retrieval, document processing, and workflow automation use cases.
Support HR process transformation initiatives where applicable. Validation & Quality Assurance
Define acceptance scenarios and business success criteria.
Validate solutions against requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Assess risks, dependencies, assumptions, and implementation impacts.
Support testing, user acceptance activities, and deployment readiness. Stakeholder Management & Leadership
Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements discussions.
Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, architects, and governance teams.
Provide guidance on business analysis methodologies, process modelling approaches, and delivery practices.
Lead selected initiatives from discovery through implementation and business adoption.
Support collaboration across international and virtual teams.

SKILLS

Must have

Essential
Several years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology, workflow automation, digital transformation, or enterprise change initiatives.
Strong experience gathering requirements and converting business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Experience with process modelling techniques such as BPMN, process mapping, and workflow design.
Proven stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and influencing skills.
Experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments.
Excellent written and spoken English. Preferred
Experience with workflow platforms and process automation solutions.
Knowledge of AI agents, Generative AI, and agentic business processes.
Experience with HR processes and HR technology transformation initiatives.
Experience in banking, consulting, or large enterprise environments.
Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
German language skills are an advantage.
Academic degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Success Profile The ideal candidate combines:
