Participate in audit and advisory engagements and, when assigned, lead individual engagements in accordance with the approved Annual Audit Plan.
Participate in developing audit programmes, determining audit procedures, analysing business processes, assessing risks, and preparing working papers, findings, recommendations and reports.
Organise working meetings with representatives of business units, support the Engagement Manager, coordinate the work of Internal Auditors and monitor the performance of procedures in assigned areas.
Guide and coach junior colleagues, review their work and provide constructive feedback on process analysis, risk assessment and control testing.
Use TeamMate+ to plan, perform and document engagements; participate in monitoring recommendations and improving audit tools, templates and the Service’s internal methodological documents.
REQUIREMENTS:
A higher education degree in finance, economics, accounting and audit, management, information technology, law, engineering or another related field; a master’s degree will be an advantage.
At least two years of overall work experience, including at least one year in internal audit or a related area such as external audit, consulting, compliance or internal control.
Practical understanding of internal audit, risk management, internal control and corporate governance principles, as well as a basic understanding of information systems, general IT controls and related risks.
Experience in independently performing audit procedures, analysing business processes, identifying and assessing risks, determining the root causes of control deficiencies and developing well-supported recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in office and analytical tools, and English sufficient for professional work; professional certifications such as CIA, CISA or ACCA, experience with specialised audit software, and knowledge of the state language and other foreign languages will be an advantage.
