Business intelligence analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate user needs into reporting and analytics specifications.
• Develop and maintain interactive reports, dashboards, and KPIs in Power BI.
• Prepare, transform, and model data from multiple enterprise sources.
• Develop SQL queries, calculated metrics, and business logic using DAX and Power Query.
• Validate data quality and consistency and investigate the root causes of discrepancies.
• Optimize data model and report performance.
• Document solutions, train users, and contribute to BI and data governance standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, economics, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience as a BI analyst, data analyst, or reporting developer.
• Strong Power BI skills, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
• Hands-on experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
• Understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data visualization principles.
• Ability to gather requirements, work with business stakeholders, and present findings.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to data quality, and ability to structure complex information.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or Python is an advantage.
• Intermediate English or higher.
