Quality Engineer
Total Experience - 5 Years and above

Location - Bangalore
- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Engineering, or SDET roles.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Scala.
- Experience in designing and developing automation frameworks using:
Selenium/TestNG/JUnit/PyTest/REST Assured (preferred) - Hands-on experience testing Big Data ecosystems such as:
Apache Hadoop/Apache Spark/Hive/Kafka/HDFS/Airflow - Strong SQL skills and experience validating large datasets.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Essential functions
- Design, develop, and execute automated test solutions for Big Data platforms and data pipelines.
- Validate data ingestion, transformation, processing, and storage across distributed systems.
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop automated data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Product Managers, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
- Perform API testing and backend validation for data services and microservices.
- Execute performance, scalability, and reliability testing for large-scale data processing applications.
- Analyze defects, identify root causes, and work with development teams to drive resolutions.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering quality practices.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and quality metrics dashboards.
