Product Owner
We are seeking a dedicated Product Owner – Data & Business Intelligence to oversee the full lifecycle of digital products centered around data, analytics, and Business Intelligence. This position acts as the key connection between business units and BI development teams, ensuring the delivery of high-value solutions that address strategic goals and encourage user adoption. This is a remote opportunity, primarily supporting teams based in Chile.
Responsibilities
- Guide the complete lifecycle of Data & Business Intelligence products, from assessing business needs to driving continuous enhancements
- Translate business requirements into actionable user stories, ensuring backlog items are well-defined and prioritized effectively
- Collaborate closely with BI development teams to design, create, and refine analytical and data visualization solutions
- Coordinate and oversee functional testing (QA) to verify solutions meet specified requirements before release
- Manage and facilitate the production deployment process for products under your oversight
- Track product performance, monitor user engagement, and identify opportunities for ongoing improvements
- Promote the adoption of data and BI solutions through presentations, training sessions, and stakeholder meetings
- Ensure seamless communication and alignment between business units, technical teams, and other stakeholders involved in delivering value
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
- At least 2 years in roles such as Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar, specifically related to data products or Business Intelligence
- A minimum of 1 year of experience leading teams of at least five members
- Proven involvement in at least two full-cycle projects or multiple projects covering various stages of the product development lifecycle
- Hands-on experience working within agile environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Functional or intermediate proficiency in SQL for querying and managing data
- Functional or intermediate expertise in Power BI for building dashboards and data visualizations
- Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and maintain well-organized product backlogs
- Experience coordinating functional testing and overseeing production release processes
- Strong English communication skills (B2 or higher), capable of effectively explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences
