We are seeking a Microsoft 365 Copilot Lead to lead the vision, readiness, deployment, and adoption of AI-powered productivity across a national retail organization in Canada. This role will define the 365 Copilot roadmap, ensure data and governance readiness, build organizational capability, and drive measurable business value — bridging corporate teams and frontline workers. This position sits at the intersection of technology architecture, data governance, and business transformation within a mature Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, M365, Power Platform).
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the strategic roadmap for Microsoft 365 Copilot deployment across the organization
- Lead tenant administration and enterprise-scale configuration of Exchange, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive
- Oversee information governance practices, including sensitivity labels, DLP policies, retention, and permissions models
- Manage security and identity considerations, including Conditional Access, access reviews, and oversharing audits
- Build and configure custom agents, plugins, connectors, and GPT-based declarative agents within Copilot Studio
- Integrate Power Platform capabilities, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and dataflows relevant to retail operations
- Establish content architecture standards, including taxonomy, metadata, and content lifecycle management
- Drive frontline engagement through Viva Suite tools, including Viva Learning, Viva Connections, and Viva Engage
- Develop adoption and measurement frameworks using Copilot Dashboard, Viva Insights, and ROI scoring models
- Maintain fluency in Microsoft 365 Copilot licensing models and roadmap developments
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 architecture, including tenant administration, Exchange, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive at enterprise scale
- Understanding of Microsoft Graph and Semantic Index, including how Copilot grounds responses and how data flows
- Expertise in information governance using Microsoft Purview, sensitivity labels, DLP policies, retention, and permissions models
- Knowledge of Entra ID and security practices, including Conditional Access, access reviews, oversharing audits, and Zero Trust principles
- Proficiency in Copilot Studio for building custom agents, plugins, connectors, and GPT-based declarative agents
- Skills in Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and dataflows for retail operations
- Background in SharePoint and content architecture, including taxonomy, metadata, and content lifecycle management
- Familiarity with Viva Suite tools, including Viva Learning, Viva Connections, and Viva Engage, particularly for frontline engagement
- Competency in adoption and measurement frameworks, including Copilot Dashboard, Viva Insights, adoption scoring, and ROI frameworks
- Qualifications in M365 Copilot licensing models and Microsoft roadmap literacy, including Ignite/Build awareness
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
