Lead Java Full Stack Engineer

We are currently seeking a nearshore Lead Java Full Stack Engineer with extensive experience in Commerce to support an AI-driven/Agentic Checkout initiative.

Responsibilities

• Build and support backend services for payment, loyalty, promotion and other commerce domain systems
• Enable AI-driven checkout flows with proper validations and guardrails
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance across commerce systems

Requirements

• Over 5 years of backend development experience with Java, Spring Boot
• Existing production experience in developing Front-End components with React.JS
• Proficiency in building REST APIs and microservices
• Exposure to AI-assisted or agent-based workflows and backend integrations
• Practical production experience with Claude Code
• Cloud experience with GCP and/or Azure
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, patterns, and technologies
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

• CCA-F certification
