Lead Software Engineer - Kofax

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to support the Kofax Fax platform. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the internal project team and external vendors to lead platform upgrade activities, coordinate testing efforts, and manage key stakeholder relationships. The successful candidate will bring a strong technical background combined with excellent communication skills and will operate within London business hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Kofax Fax platform upgrade activities in coordination with the internal project team and vendor
• Provide support throughout testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases
• Coordinate testing and UAT activities across teams
• Engage effectively with vendor team members and project stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee stakeholder communications
• Support upgrade activities involving SQL databases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align platform enhancements with business objectives
• Operate within London business hours to ensure alignment with project stakeholders

Requirements

• 8–12 years of professional experience in a technical role
• Strong technical background paired with excellent communication skills
• Proven expertise in vendor and stakeholder management
• Familiarity with Kofax Fax functionality or Kofax automation (RPA Kapow) for Tungsten vendor products
• Knowledge of SQL databases to support upgrade activities
• Capability to manage platform upgrade projects end-to-end
• Demonstrated experience supporting testing and UAT coordination
• Flexibility to work during London business hours
• Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher

Nice to have

• Background in platform engineering
• Experience with Intelligent Automation or RPA
• Familiarity with Tungsten or Kofax products
