Lead DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced, well-rounded Lead DevOps Engineer with deep expertise across the full software delivery lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on skills in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and security tooling, while also being an effective communicator who can bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. This role thrives in Agile/Scrum environments and is comfortable owning end-to-end pipeline design and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for enterprise-scale software delivery
• Develop and maintain automation for enterprise server configuration and performance monitoring
• Build and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions across cloud environments
• Integrate security and quality gate tooling into build and deployment pipelines
• Configure unit, integration, security, and E2E tests as pipeline quality gates
• Manage software configuration and source control processes across development teams
• Implement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions for enterprise systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the full SDLC — from requirements gathering and design through deployment and application support
• Communicate technical solutions effectively to both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders
• Provide accurate estimates and deliver on commitments within Agile/Scrum teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent enterprise experience
• 8-12 years of professional experience as a Build or DevOps Engineer, including build automation, continuous integration, configuration management, and enterprise deployment
• Background in Software Configuration Management (SCM) using GitHub
• Expertise in CI/CD using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Jenkins
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure with AWS (EC2, VPN, multi-zone, NAT Gateway, IAM, and networking concepts)
• Skills in configuring security testing tools such as SonarQube, Dependabot, and CodeQL, as well as Invicti, Wiz, and Mend as part of build and deployment pipelines
• Competency in monitoring tools, including Grafana and Prometheus
• Expert-level knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and Python
• Familiarity with both Linux and Windows environments
• Understanding of computer science fundamentals and how to apply them in large-scale distributed systems
• Showcase of Agile/Scrum experience with full SDLC understanding — requirements gathering, design and architecture, development, testing, deployment, and application support
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (B2 level), along with accurate estimation skills and the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences

Nice to have

• Infrastructure automation tooling experience with Chef and Terraform
• Working knowledge of Angular and .NET Core
• Familiarity with C++
