Lead Python Developer
We are looking for a Lead Python Developer to drive the design, development and delivery of scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical leadership, hands-on coding expertise and a passion for building robust systems across cloud and data platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of Python-based applications and services
- Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Oversee deployment and management of solutions across AWS, GCP and Azure
- Drive the development of ETL/ELT solutions to support data processing needs
- Build and maintain containerized applications with Docker
- Set up monitoring and observability using Elasticsearch, Grafana and Prometheus
- Guide the integration of messaging and streaming systems with Apache Kafka
- Ensure code quality through testing practices using Pytest
- Mentor team members and conduct code reviews to uphold engineering standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver solutions
- Manage database design and optimization across SQL and NoSQL platforms
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in Python, Django and Pandas
- Expertise in CI/CD with Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Background in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP and Azure
- Skills in containerization using Docker
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT solutions and Apache Kafka
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Grafana and Prometheus
- Competency in testing frameworks such as Pytest
- Expertise in databases including Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Understanding of NoSQL databases such as Amazon DynamoDB
- Proficiency in version control with Git
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
