Lead .NET AI Engineer

We are looking for a Lead .NET AI Developer to drive the design and development of modern cloud-native applications powered by Generative AI technologies. This role combines deep expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem with hands-on experience building AI-enabled solutions and mentoring engineering teams.

You will lead the development of scalable ASP.NET services on Microsoft Azure, leverage AI-assisted engineering tools, and contribute to the delivery of innovative solutions that integrate GenAI capabilities into enterprise applications. While the primary focus is backend development, the ideal candidate should also be comfortable taking fullstack tasks using React or Angular.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications using C# and .NET technologies
• Architect and implement scalable ASP.NET Core and Web API solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Drive adoption of modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD, cloud-native architectures, and DevOps automation
• Develop and integrate Generative AI capabilities into business applications
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional engineering teams to define technical solutions
• Guide technical decisions, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineers
• Contribute to frontend development activities using React or Angular when required
• Build secure, resilient, and highly performant distributed systems
• Optimize development workflows through AI-assisted engineering practices utilizing GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and LLM-based solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework
• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core, Web API, and service-oriented architectures
• Proven experience developing applications on Microsoft Azure, including building and managing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Deep understanding of software design principles, testing practices, and modern development methodologies
• Practical experience using GitHub Copilot and/or Cursor as part of the software development lifecycle
• Experience working with Anthropic Claude or comparable Large Language Models
• Hands-on experience developing Generative AI applications
• Understanding and practical application of Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Strong knowledge of Prompt Engineering techniques and AI solution design
• Ability to evaluate, integrate, and operationalize AI-powered capabilities within enterprise systems
