KDB Engineering Lead
We are seeking a KDB Engineering Lead to deploy and operate a KX Insights-based data platform that integrates end-of-day OMS and ICE data and supports batch ETL workflows. You will coordinate technical enablement and partner closely with cloud engineering to run the solution in AWS.
Responsibilities
- Lead deployment of KX Insights for an end-of-day data integration platform
- Design batch ETL processing to load and transform end-of-day datasets
- Integrate end-of-day data feeds from OMS and ICE sources into the platform
- Coordinate enablement activities to ensure teams can use and support the solution
- Partner with the Cloud Engineering lead to host and operate KX Insights in AWS
- Define operational runbooks and monitoring approaches for platform stability
- Troubleshoot integration and pipeline issues to restore service quickly
- Align implementation with provided schemas and downstream dashboard hosting constraints
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with kdb+ engineering and deployment
- Experience with KX Insights implementation and operations
- Lead-level leadership skills guiding technical delivery and enablement
- Proven project execution skills coordinating cross-team integration work
- Strong AWS cloud skills to support hosting and operational readiness
- Strong communication skills for aligning with cloud engineering stakeholders
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2) for daily collaboration
