The role is based in our Limassol office, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer relocation support for you.
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Installation Technician to join our Internal Security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying state-of-the-art Hikvision security systems, ensuring the highest standards of safety and technical excellence for the Company.
What you'll actually do
- Physical installation of IP and analog CCTV cameras, including mounting brackets and secure positioning.
- Laying and managing cable infrastructure (UTP, coaxial, and power cabling).
- Configuring IP addresses, initializing devices, and setting up NVR/DVR systems.
- Using Hikvision tools such as SADP Tool and Batch Configuration Tool for device setup.
- Setting up remote access via Hik-Connect and Hik-Partner platforms.
- Integrating surveillance systems with management software such as iVMS-4200 or Hik-Central.
- Installing and configuring access control systems, including facial recognition terminals and door controllers.
- Installing door hardware components (electronic locks, break glass units, exit buttons, etc.).
- Installing and configuring burglar alarm systems, including sensors and control panels.
- Performing routine system health checks and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshooting connectivity and system faults, and carrying out on-site repairs.
- Providing end-user training and orientation on system usage and mobile application management.
Who we’re looking for
- Degree or Diploma in IT, Telecommunications, or Electrical Engineering.
- Good command of Greek and English languages is required.
- 5+ years of experience in low-voltage systems installation.
- Strong knowledge of Hikvision product families (e.g., ColorVu, AcuSense, DarkFighter) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in networking, including TCP/IP protocols, PoE switch configuration, and router setup.
- Advanced experience with Hikvision software tools such as SADP, iVMS-4200, Batch Configuration Tool, Hik-Central, Hik-Connect, and Hik-Partner.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical schematics.
- Experience using power tools and adherence to electrical safety standards.
- Hikvision certification (HCSA or HCSP) is highly preferred.
- Experience with INIM fire alarm systems installation and configuration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to different job sites.
