Intern/Junior Accountant

We are looking for an Intern/Junior Accountant to join our international team for a 6-month paid internship program, with the possibility to continue working with the company after successfully completing the internship.

This opportunity is a good fit for an early-career accounting professional who already has some practical or commercial accounting experience and wants to further develop in international and corporate accounting.

You will gain hands-on experience with US GAAP, financial reporting, month-end closing, reconciliations, and accounting processes across multiple legal entities while working with colleagues in an international environment.

The position is fully remote, but candidates must be currently based in Ukraine.

Essential functions

• Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting
• Assist with account reconciliations, journal entries, and other accounting operations
• Support accounting activities across multiple legal entities
• Learn and apply US GAAP principles in daily work
• Support corporate accounting processes, including US GAAP reporting, consolidation, and related activities
• Assist with bank payments and cash reporting
• Cooperate with HR, administrative teams, suppliers, and external accounting providers
• Support quarterly and year-end audit preparation
• Participate in internal projects and accounting process improvements

Qualifications

• Previous practical or commercial experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Degree or ongoing education in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Good basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Confident Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers and documents
• Motivation to develop professionally in international and corporate accounting
• English level: B1 (Intermediate) or higher, sufficient for communication with international colleagues

Would be a plus

• Previous experience in an international company or international environment
• Basic knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP
• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, or journal entries
• Experience working with multiple legal entities
