Forward Deployed Engineer (AI Platform)

We’re looking for an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer to deploy and integrate an enterprise AI platform into complex customer environments.

You’ll work hands-on with software engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, security, and AI/LLM technologies across cloud and on-premises environments.

Essential functions

• Deploy and maintain the AI orchestration platform across AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, and on-prem environments

• Configure Docker/Kubernetes infrastructure, Helm deployments, and Terraform

• Integrate enterprise authentication and security solutions (SAML, OIDC, SSO/OAuth, API gateways)

• Integrate LLM providers such as Amazon Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Ollama, and internal enterprise models

• Configure AI agent workflows, MCP integrations, CLI tools, and IDE extensions

• Integrate semantic code indexing and AI context pipelines into CI/CD workflows

• Work closely with Enterprise Architects, Security teams, Principal Engineers, and DevEx teams

• Translate customer requirements and technical challenges into improvements for Product and R&D teams

• Help customers establish best practices for AI agent governance and developer productivity

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong development skills in at least one of: Kotlin, Java, Go, Python, or TypeScript

• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with Helm and Terraform

• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenShift, or private cloud environments

• Understanding of networking and enterprise security: TLS/mTLS, reverse proxies, API gateways

• Experience with enterprise authentication: SAML, OIDC, SSO

• Strong understanding of Git, GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD, IDEs, and CLI workflows

• Practical experience with LLM APIs, AI infrastructure, AI proxies, MCP/agent protocols, or local LLM runtimes

• Willingness and ability to travel abroad for business trips

Would be a plus

• Experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, DevEx Consultant, or similar customer-facing technical role

• Experience building IDE plugins or developer tools

• Knowledge of RAG, vector databases, or semantic code search

• Experience with enterprise AI platforms
