DevOps engineer (GCP)
We are currently looking for a skilled Mid-Senior DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our engineering team.
In this role, you will help design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools, while also ensuring system reliability, scalability and performance of our applications and development processes.
Essential functions
- Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Implement automation for provisioning, deployment and monitoring using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Manage and improve containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability.
- Apply best practices for cloud security, cost optimization and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with other teams to streamline workflows and improve deployment processes.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
- Strong experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation tools.
- Experience with containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Strong understanding of networking, security and cloud architecture principles.
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- B2 and higher level of English (both writing and speaking)
