DevOps Engineer (GCP & AI Infrastructure)
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, scale, and maintain cloud infrastructure for an enterprise retail leader supporting over 2,000 stores. In this hands-on role, you will build production-grade infrastructure, automate deployments, and integrate modern AI workflows into our operational stack.
Essential functions
- Provision and maintain enterprise GCP infrastructure using Terraform and Terraform Enterprise (TFE).
- Build and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Manage containerized workloads across Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Configure GCP IAM, networking, and security policies to maintain operational compliance.
- Set up observability and monitoring using Grafana, Loki, and Looker dashboards.
- Apply FinOps practices to optimize cloud spend and maintain technical documentation (ADRs).
- Collaborate with teams to integrate LLM and AI agentic tools into DevOps operations.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience architecting and managing GCP environments.
- Advanced expertise with Terraform / Terraform Enterprise (IaC).
- Deep understanding of Linux systems and cloud networking.
- Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
- Working knowledge of Grafana and Loki for observability.
- Foundational understanding of LLM/ML concepts and AI agentic workflows.
Would be a plus
- Advanced scripting skills in Python or Bash.
- Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost management.
- Experience managing SQL and NoSQL database infrastructure.
