Data Scientist
Seeking an innovative Data Scientist with expertise in AI implementations to join the cutting-edge team. In this role, the engineer will develop and implement a pipeline of advanced computer vision models, with a focus on Large Language Models and other state-of-the-art architectures.
Essential functions
- Design and implement vision models and other advanced deep learning architectures for image classification, object detection, and segmentation tasks
- Develop and optimize data pipelines for large-scale image datasets, ensuring efficient data processing and storage
- Create and maintain ETL processes to integrate diverse image data sources into our AI systems
- Implement data quality checks and validation procedures to ensure the integrity of image datasets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy AI models in production environments
- Conduct exploratory data analysis on image datasets to uncover insights and improve model performance
Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models for computer vision applications
- Strong proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Experience with data engineering tools and practices, including designing data pipelines and ETL processes
- Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark for large-scale data processing
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with both relational and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) for model training and deployment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to optimize model performance
