AppMagic is looking for an experienced, versatile and highly motivated Business Development Manager in the greater China region. If you have mobile, gaming and analytics in your background, that’s even better! You will help AppMagic greater China region to grow the new business with your connections, sourcing skills and industry knowledge.
Please note that this is a remote role, but it requires presence in the Southern part of GCR, preferably in Guangzhou or Shenzhen.
You will be responsible for and take pride in:
- Being an expert and presenting how our product suite can help a company create winning strategies for the mobile market.
- Have a strong knowledge of our data, methodology, and visualization tools and be able to explain to internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing the entire sales process from sourcing to closing (including but not limited to email campaigns, cold calling, networking, conferences, trade shows etc.)
- Developing and maintaining a substantial pipeline of qualified opportunities and consistently maintain an accurate forecast.
- Maintain a strong level of app industry knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with clients.
- Be a trusted and honest advisor to prospects and solve their objection handlings/feedbacks with a positive attitude.
- Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace.
You should recognize yourself in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- SaaS experience required.
- Strong understanding of the mobile gaming niche with a well-established network of gaming companies in Southern China, ideally including SMBs.
- 3+ years of experience in solution selling, selling data analytics tools in Enterprise sales, the mobile app industry or digital marketing space and managing multiple accounts across a variety of different verticals within the mobile app industry or the Adtech / Martech industries.
- A keenly developed competitive nature, mature personality, great team player and constant learner with a technical aptitude to master our products.
- Fluent in Chinese and English as a working language, capable and comfortable to work in both languages efficiently.
- Consistent quarter over quarter track-record of quota attainment.
- Superior communication skills, incredible writing skills, and the ability to capture an audience during a presentation.
- Accurate forecasting and pipeline management skills.
- Tons of energy, passion, humor, and enthusiasm.
- An entrepreneurial spirit with a can-do positive attitude and willing to grow together with a startup.
Nice to have:
- Good knowledge of China's export business in the Gaming, Social, Fintech and investment industries landscape.
- Solid understanding of data analytics.
- A thorough understanding of the Mobile Internet ecosystem with strong personal interest.
