Are you passionate about data and ready to grow into large-scale, real-world Big Data projects?
We’re opening enrollment for a fully paid 3-month retraining program focused on Scala and Spark, designed to prepare engineers for long-term work with one of the leading U.S. technology companies 🌍
Essential functions
This is a 95% hands-on training where participants work on a simulated production project, solving real engineering challenges such as:
- Building a data uploader for third-party integrations
- Developing and managing a schema registry
- Creating and maintaining ETL pipelines and triggers
- Implementing Airflow DAGs for ingestion and validation
- Monitoring data quality, metrics, and integrity
Participants will also receive mentoring, interview preparation, and soft-skills training to succeed in future client interactions.
Qualifications
- Good knowledge of Scala and Spark
- Knowledge of SQL
- AWS basic knowledge, preferably (or knowledge of any other cloud service)
- Level of English: Upper-Intermediate or higher
- Readiness to evening's calls with the client (till 21:00 EEST)

- Theoretical knowledge of Big Data concepts
- Commercial experience, working with real clients (not only pet-projects or RnD or Internships)
- Eager to invest his/her time to education and learn new technologies
