Industrial Data Analyst

Project description

The project aims to enable an end‑to‑end industrial data platform by integrating OT systems (plant equipment, PLCs, sensors) with IT and cloud environments, supporting real-time data capture, processing, and analytics to improve operational efficiency, safety, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Exploratory analysis of industrial and operational data
• Design and maintenance of dashboards and reports for business and operations
• Definition of KPIs, metrics, and descriptive/diagnostic analytical models
• Data quality validation from a functional perspective
• Collaboration with Data Engineers and plant teams to understand data context

SKILLS

Must have

• A degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a similar field is required.
• Prior experience as a Data Analyst and the ability to translate data into business decisions are required.
• 3+ years of experience
• SQL, Python (pandas), Power BI / Tableau, advanced Excel
• Data Lake / Data Warehouse
• Basic statistics concepts
• Does not design ETL pipelines or integrate data from PLCs or OT systems
• On-site work model
• Travel required to visit plants and work onsite within Spain and potentially abroad after rollout.
• English B2 (good spoken level)
