Virtualization and Cloud Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Virtualization and Cloud Team Lead to guide our virtualization and cloud specialists team while managing and optimizing our on-premises and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in virtualization and Azure cloud services, along with proven leadership abilities to drive the team toward operational excellence, security compliance, and high availability across all platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the virtualization and cloud specialists team
• Manage and maintain on-premises virtualized environments using VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V
• Manage and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure
• Apply industry best practices and monitor environments to ensure security compliance
• Support deployment and scaling of AI/ML applications leveraging GPU resources
• Build and maintain containerized workloads
• Maintain high availability and reliability across cloud and on-prem platforms
• Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with virtualization technologies, especially VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V
• Strong experience with Azure cloud services, including networking, compute, and storage
• Experience with Azure security and DevOps tools
• Competency in Linux system administration
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of cloud security and compliance best practices

Nice to have

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, VMware VCP, or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator
• Experience with Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker, or other MLOps platforms
• Familiarity with containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
