VFX Artist (Intern)

We are launching a VFX internship program.

During the internship, you'll experience the full VFX production process, from the initial idea to implementation in our game engine. You'll learn our tools and workflows, gradually take on more challenging tasks, and contribute to the visual experience of games played by millions of people.

Responsibilities

Stage 1: Internship (4 weeks)

You'll learn how VFX is created for mobile games and how to implement and optimize effects in our game engine. With support from a mentor, you'll complete several practical tasks, such as creating an effect for a match-3 mechanic and a UI effect.

If you complete the internship successfully, you will move on to Stage 2: Probation period (2 months)

You'll join one of our project teams and start working on real production tasks. You'll create effects for game features, UI elements, and player actions, taking them from the initial idea through to final implementation in the engine and seeing your work come to life in the game.

The most successful interns will have the opportunity to continue their careers at Playrix!

Requirements

• Basic skills in VFX or animation.
• A portfolio showcasing examples of your work.
• A basic understanding of composition, color, timing, and movement.
• An interest in game VFX and 2D graphics, with a strong desire to develop your skills in VFX for mobile games.

Nice to have

• Experience working with game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, or similar tools.
