VFX Artist (Freelance)

OWLCAT GAMES was founded in 2016. The studio employs experienced developers who worked on projects such as Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, and is currently working on titles Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy and The Expanse: Osiris Reborn.

TASKS:

·      Creating and optimizing high-quality, realistically stylized effects in Unreal Engine 5 (Niagara).

REQUIREMENTS:

·      Proficiency with Unreal Engine

·      Experience working on AA+ projects in VFX and a portfolio of your work

·      Understanding of the art, technical, and gameplay aspects of working on visual effects

·      Ability to interact with a team of game designers, artists, and programmers

·      Proficiency with any software for creating textures (Photoshop, AE, Substance Designer)

·      Sufficient knowledge of 3D in Maya/Houdini/Blender to create VFX (simple meshes, UV editing, normals, vertex color, etc.).
