Room 8 Studio is looking for a Team Manager, middle-management specialist who acts as Direct Manager to the assigned team and responsible for the formation, capacity management, team development and assessment of the assigned specialists.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in project management, team management, or related leadership roles
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a production environment
- Ability to manage team performance, staffing, and resource planning
- Experience with onboarding, mentoring, and team development processes
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Understanding of performance management principles and team operations within art production pipelines
- Proactive mindset with the ability to improve processes and drive team efficiency

Responsibilities
- Support the art team across hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development
- Manage team capacity, staffing, and resource allocation according to project needs and timelines
- Collaborate with Producers, Project Managers, and Leads on project planning and team structure
- Monitor team performance, utilization, and workflow efficiency
- Drive improvements in internal processes, tools, and team operations
- Support recruitment activities, freelancer management, and portfolio preparation
- Coordinate mentorship, onboarding, and internship programs
- Participate in project reviews, retrospectives, and team performance evaluations
- Ensure smooth communication and alignment between artists, management, and production teams
- Oversee administrative team management activities, including time tracking and PTO coordination
